Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - PT Paripurna Swakarsa (PT PSA), a palm oil plantation and processing company, has built reverse osmosis (RO) as a clean water facility in Pondok Labu Village, Pamukan Selatan Sub-district, Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan.
"This is PT PSA's commitment, as a subdiary of Minamas Plantation, to support improving the community's quality of life," said Area Controller for Pamukan 2 of PT Paripurna Swakarsa, Widodo, in a statement received in Batulicin, Tuesday.
The facility which cost Rp100.500.000 is expected to expand and make it easier for the community to get clean, healthy, and potable drinking water.
In addition to supporting the community's health improvement, it represents the company's effort to foster people well-being by providing sustainable basic infrastructure.
Jadih, Head of Pondok Labu Village, expressed his appreciation for PT Paripurna Swakarsa's commitment to consistently delivering CSR programs that address the community's needs.
"On behalf of the village government and the entire community of Pondok Labu, we extend our gratitude to PT Paripurna Swakarsa. This assistance is highly beneficial, it make it easier for the community to access safe drinking water. We hope the good synergy between the company and the village will continue through various programs," Jadih stated.
Abiryansyah, Head of Hamlet I in Pondok Labu Village, also welcomed the building of the facility.
"We deeply grateful for the assistance provided by the company. The community has long been in need of quality drinking water. With this RO facility and drinking water depot, residents' need for clean drinking water can be met more easily. We are committed to properly maintaining and utilizing this facility, so that the entire community can enefit from it," he said.
